“LENA”

   Lena was bred by our very good friends Diane Markel and Terri McCarthy.  We anxiously awaited this litter, hoping to add a brindle girl to our family.  As luck would have it, the litter produced a singleton and a brindle girl to boot!  Thank you Diane & Terri for allowing us to keep this little beauty.

   Lena is a granddaughter to our Gabe and Biby and a grandniece to our Dancer.  Having lost all three the same year, we named her our Triple Legacy. 

   We brought this beautiful dark brindle girl home at 6 weeks of age and she fit right in.  Lena is a very spirited girl with tons of attitude and a love of life.  She is very sound, has a great topline and also the most wonderful movement.  Lena always loves to be near us – whether sitting on my lap, lying behind my chair or at my feet while I’m on the computer.  At the mention of going bye-bye she is always ready and gets so excited jumping around making it difficult to get her lead on.  She is by far the smartest of the bunch as we can see as she tries to outsmart the others – she is also the first dog we have owned that loves to watch TV.
